Montezuma's Revenge: Issue One

Time to take my blog seriously...

I've decided since I have drawn several comics of dubious artistic value that I should share them with any of you who care to visit my website and discover its secrets.  So in the next few days I will be debuting Montezuma's Revenge.  This comic was years in the making as long as you consider the numerous High School brain storming sessions that only ever yielded sketches of the eternally shifting main characters...  But last year I finally got around to pencilling a five page mini issue and a few weeks later the five page sequel.  The long short of it is that later today you will get to enjoy Montezuma's Revenge.

Art Event in Brooklyn

The gracious folks at Gallery Brooklyn have invited me to host an event at the gallery as a sendoff to the BoyArt Manifesto Show which opened in December.  To all those folks interested I will have solid details as soon as they're available until then I can say that I have already made two gaming tables for people to play with the art...  One table features real synthetic lava and the other is a decaying temple complex and there are more to come.

These works are the substantive metaphor of our artistic ideas, without the heady pretense of over implication of contrived meaning. Our work is at once original and informed by the established values of prior generations. This work is not exclusive of the majority and the archetypes within it are reflected in parallel. Intellect is not exclusive, art is for all...
